FAQs
It’s called a ‘hybrid’ because it combines the power of gas and electric for a more efficient driving experience.
Toyota hybrids have both a gas engine and an electric motor, which means better mpgs and fewer trips to the pump. You’re even saving money in stop-and-go traffic, because the battery actually charges as you brake using a technology called ‘regenerative braking.'
Better fuel efficiency, plus no added maintenance means more money in your wallet.
We now offer hybrids in many vehicles you know and love, from Corolla, Camry, RAV4, Highlander and more.
For most Toyota hybrids, you don’t have to. Most of our hybrids have regenerative braking, meaning they charge as you brake.
We also offer two hybrids that you can plug in, the RAV4 Prime and the Prius Prime. These allow you to drive for many miles on electric power alone, increasing your combined mpg. For example, the RAV4 Prime has an EPA-estimated combined 94 MPGe.
