Keep Your Toyota Its Best All Year Long
There’s no better time to take good care of your Toyota than now. Here’s a helpful checklist to make sure you’re on top of keeping your car on top.
Throughout the year
If you see dashboard indicator lights on as you’re driving, head to your Toyota Service Center as soon as you can.
Make sure your headlights, taillights, and turn signals are lighting up properly whenever you can. These are easy to forget about, but vitally important.
Check your tire pressure throughout the year and look for warning signs of low tires like your vehicle pulling in one direction or a drop in gas mileage.
Every 3-6 months
Every three months is the perfect time for a regular Toyota check up! At a Toyota Service Center, we’ll check your transmission fluids, belts, engine air filter, and more to make sure that you’re in good shape. It’s the easiest way to ensure your Toyota is running at its peak.
Depending on your oil and your vehicle, you could need to be changing it every 2,000 to 3,000 miles. If you commute every day, or take a lot of road trips, it’s easy to rack up the distance
Every year
Your brake pads will wear down over time, so at least once a year you should make sure they’re in their best shape. If you notice your Toyota is slow to brake or hear a squealing sound, it might be time earlier in the year.
Keep your car on the straight and narrow by getting your wheels aligned at least once a year. Beyond steering, this can help your tires wear equally and save you money down the line.
